17th Life Theatre Awards 2017

The 17th M1-The Straits Times Life Theatre Awards was held this afternoon at the Esplanade Recital Studio. Members of the arts community showed up in a glorious celebration of the world of musical theatre. A total of fifteen awards were given out.

The big winners of the day were PANGDEMONIUM's family drama about autism Falling, which bagged awards for Best Actor, Actress, Director and Reader's Choice and Edith Podesta's indie production B*itch: The Origin of the Female Species which won Best Original Script and the coveted Production of the Year. A shout-out is also in order for Tracie Pang, who bagged the Best Director prize after being nominated a whopping nine times in the category.
