12th Life! Theatre Awards 2012

The 12th Life! Theatre Awards was held this afternoon. There has been a great range of performances nominated this year and congratulations to all the winners.

I'm thrilled to see a mix of established theatre companies and smaller outfits being recognised. Especially happy for Huzir Sulaiman (Best Original Script), Daisy Irani (Best Actress) and Eucien Chia (Best Set Design) - those were my predictions too! A shout out is also well in order for Alfian Sa'at's Cooling Off Day, one of the most talked-about and significant plays of 2011.
